• Our Honble Railway Minister Mr. Suresh Prabhu
  has unveiled the Rail Budget 2016 on 25 February
  Tuesday. Here are the Rail Budget Highlights and
  Benefits. This Was the second railways budget
  from Suresh Prabhu in BJP government.Check out
  the Railway Budget Benefits for all states and
  new premium trains.

No Fare Hike

• There is no hike in the fare of ticket of the
  railway, so the cost of ticket is the same as it
  was last year so guys no need to worry about the
  price of ticket.

Superfast Unreserved Train

• Antyodaya Express, a long-distance, unreserved,
  superfast train service, for the common man, to
  be operated on dense routes

Superfast Reserved Trains

• The Minister of Railways Shri Suresh Prabhakar
  Prabhu has introduced 3 new trains Humsafar,
  Tejas and Uday for the Reserved Passenger. He
  also said that two to four Deen Dayalu coaches
  will be added in some long distance trains for
  unreserved travel to enhance the carrying
  capacity.

Smart Coaches

• Will have amenities including automatic doors,
  bar-code reader, bio-vacuum toilets, water-level
  indicators, accessible dustbins, entertainment
  screens, vending machines, PA system and many
  more.

Swachh Rail

• Railway will introduce 'clean my coach' service
  on Pan-India basis, where a passenger can request
  clean of his or her coach or toilet on demand
  through SMS. It will also install additional
  30000 bio-toilets in next financial year.

IRCTC Services Food Availability

• IRCTC will extending e-catering services from
  existing 45 large stations to all 408 'A1' and
  'A' class stations. It will also explore the
  possibility of making mandatory catering services
  optional in trains. Local cuisine of choice will
  be made available to passengers.
