ACTING
  • Acting requires a wide range of skills,
including vocal projection, clarity of spech
    physical expressivity, emotional facility, a
well-developed imagination and the ability to
    interpret drama.
  • Acting also often demands an ability to
    employ dialects, accents and body
    language, improvisation, observation and
emulation, mime, and stage combat. Many actors
train at length in special programs or colleges
to develop these skills, and today the vast
majority of professional actors have undergone
    extensive training.

FILM MAKING
  • Filmmaking is the process of making a film.
Filmmaking involves a number of discrete stages
including an initial story, idea, or commission,
    through scriptwriting, casting, shooting, sound
    recording and reproduction,  editing,
and screening  the finished product before
an audience that may result in a film release and
    exhibition.
  • Filmmaking takes place in many places around the
world in a range of economic, social,
and political contexts, and using a variety of
    technologies and cinematic techniques. Typically,
it involves a large number of people, and can
take from a few months to several years to
    complete.

SCRIPT WRITING
  • scriptwriting, is the art and craft of
writingscripts for mass media such as feature
films television productions or video games It
    is frequently a freelance profession.
  • Screenwriters are responsible for researching the
story, developing the narrative, writing the
screenplay, and delivering it, in the required
    format, to development executives. Screenwriters
therefore have great influence over the creative
direction and emotional impact of the screenplay
and, arguably, of the finished film.

DIRECTION
  • screen direction is the direction that actors or
objects appear to be moving on the screen from
the point of view of the camera or audience. A
rule of film editing and film grammar is that
movement from one edited shot to another must
maintain the consistency of screen direction in
    order to avoid audience confusion
  • It is the responsibility of the director
cameraman and script supervisor on the set to
maintain consistency of screen direction so that
later during editing the myriad short pieces of
film can be properly assembled by the editor into
a coherent film that tells the story intended.
