machine operation. It can be useful but most
processes need hot machines and final products to
be cooled. In old times, machines were using
chillers to get cool down, but with growing
concern around energy, simple cooling systems are
making a comeback. Manufacturers always try to
find measures to reduce heat gain. In this
article, they will tell you how you can enhance
water efficiency and keep your close circuit
water cooling tower's consumption low.

Evaporation
Evaporative cooling is important to open circuit
cooling towers. Locating the system in a hot and
windy area will increase water waste. By lowering
the heat load on the cooling tower with the help
of dry or closed circuit system, you can reduce

fitted float valve allows the tower overfill
until water flows straight out the overflow and
into sewer. You can skip overflowing issue by
checking during routine maintenance and by
monitoring water consumption. You can check for
leaks by inspection and performing a mass balance
or direct metering of flows.
