reflux? Go ahead and look at Acidgone
Dandelion Root
  • Dandelions have been used for centuries in
traditional Chinese medicine and medicinal teas,
most notably for liver detoxification, and as a
natural diuretic and for inflammation reduction.
    Dandelion root promotes digestive regularity.

2
Aloe Vera
  • Aloe Vera has traditionally been used to promote
healing from burns and wounds. Recent studies
found Aloe Vera to be effective in wound healing
when administered either orally or topically.
Aloe improves wound healing by increasing the
availability of oxygen and by increasing the
synthesis and the strength of collagen. The
mucilage from the leaves of the Aloe Vera plant
is a gentle treatment for chronic constipation.
Aloe Vera is being used in alternative therapy to
    treat various intestinal problems.

3
Alfalfa
  • Alfalfa is a flowering plant in the pea family
and has been used as an herbal medicine for over
1,500 years. Alfalfa is high in protein, calcium,
plus other minerals, vitamin A, vitamins in the B
    group,vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, and
vitamin K. In early Chinese medicines, physicians
used young alfalfa leaves to treat disorders
related to the digestive tract and the kidneys.
In Hindu societies, ayurvedic physicians used the
leaves for treating poor digestion. Apple Pectin
  • Apple Pectin is a soluble dietary fiber that is
often used as a gelling agent and is effective in
lowering cholesterol levels. Apple pectin helps
maintain intestinal balance by cleansing the
    intestines.

4
Burdock Root
  • Burdock has been used for centuries as a blood
purifier, clearing the bloodstream of some
toxins, and as a topical remedy for skin problems
such as acne, eczema, rosacea and psoriasis. It
is also used for ailments and complaints of the
    gastrointestinal tract, gout, and arthritis.
  • Guar Gum
  • Guar Gum has traditionally been used as a bulk
laxative, appetite suppressant and as a treatment
for diabetes. Along with Psyllium, it has been
found to decrease serum cholesterol, especially
    LDL.

5
Irish Moss
  • Irish Moss Irish is a seaweed, which as a group,
contain the greatest amount and broadest range of
minerals of any organism. Seaweeds make excellent
mineral-rich foods. The healing properties of
Irish Moss include having a mild anticoagulant
effect on the blood, as a treatment for chronic
lung diseases, dysentery, diarrhea and disorders
    of kidney and bladder.
  • Magnesium Phosphate
  • Magnesium phosphate is an antacid. It increases
the alkalinity (pH) of Acidgone and neutralizes
excess acid in the stomach without excessive
    alkalinization of the system.

6
Marshmallow Root
  • Marshmallow Root was considered a cure-all by the
ancient Greeks. Marshmallow Root has a high
mucilage content, which makes it an excellent
emollient. When the mucilage comes in contact
with water, it forms a very soft, soothing, and
protective gel. It is taken internally to relieve
irritation and inflammation of the mucous
    membranes.

7
Milk Thistle
  • For centuries, the seeds of milk thistle have
been used to protect the liver. One active
component, silmarin, has long been recognized for
its ability to benefit people with liver
disorders and as a protective compound against
liver damaging agents. Research suggests that
milk thistle extracts both prevent and repair
damage to the liver from toxic chemicals and
    medications.
