Last month, the Millennium city got a new reason
to advance the pace of its physical
infrastructure developments when the government
of Haryana announced that it will develop Gurgaon
as Smart City with its own resources. Now, the
state government will offer Gurgaon basic
infrastructure to give Gurgaonians a decent
quality of life in a clean and sustainable
environment as per the guidelines and technical
assistance of the central government.

It will be a self-financing project from the
state government and it will be made possible
through the application of some smart solutions.
After Gurgaon was outshined by Faridabad and
Karnal in the race of making it to the list of
100 smart cities, there had been a growing demand
for adding Gurgaon to the centers list of smart
cities.

After being honored with the new smart city tag,
Gurgaon will witness new infrastructural
developments and a new demand for residential
property in Gurgaon There is already a huge
demand for affordable housing in Delhi NCR and
the Millennium City can cater the new demand.
