  • Linje Rivers was born and raised in Tallahassee,
    FL. He holds a Bachelors degree in Business
    Administration from Morehouse College, and
    graduated with distinction. He also earned his
    law degree from the University of Florida. He was
    calm and focused all through his years of
    education both at the Morehouse College and the
    University of Florida.

  • While at the Morehouse College and the University
    of Florida, he was part of several professional
    associations which include the Kiwanis Club, the
    Morehouse Business Association, the Morehouse
    Student Senate, the Pre-Law Society, Emma and Joe
    Adams Public Service scholarship, the Black Law
    Students Association, the John Marshall Bar
    Association, the Association for Business Law,
    Estates and Trusts Society, the Association for
    Tax Law, and the Habitat for Humanity.

  • In 2010, he was appointed as a Senior
    Attorney/Assistant General Counsel at the Florida
    Department of Financial Services to draft
    declaratory statements, administrative
    complaints, appellate briefs, memorandums,
    settlement agreements, pleadings, suspension
    orders, rule-making challenges, consent orders,
    discovery, and motions and to present cases
    before the Florida District Courts of Appeals,
    Division of Administrative Hearings, informal
    hearing officers, and the Board of Funeral,
    Cemetery and Consumer Services. And in 2015, he
    joined the Florida Office of Financial
    Regulation, and was tasked with the regulation of
    mortgage lenders, loan originators, and money
    services businesses. He continues to serve the
    State of Florida and its citizens at various
    state agencies with utmost dedication, passion,
    punctuality and professionalism.

  • Being a progressive professional, he has joined
    numerous associations and non-profit bodies aimed
    at helping people get through their legal
    problems. Such associations include the Florida

Hobbies
  • In addition, he is fun to be with. He engages in
    all sorts of sports, especially soccer, and he
    also has a keen interest in music, learning new
    languages (he is a minor in Spanish), golf,
    reading, running, and weight-lifting.
