  • Andrew Stoner is a well known politician based in
    Australia. He was elected as a member of New
    South Wales Legislative Assembly in 1999
    elections, and represented the electorate of
    Oxley. He has been a leader of the National Party
    of Australia New South Wales for more than 11
    years between 2003 and 2014.

  • An educated professional, he has a Bachelor of
    Business from Queensland Institute of Technology.
    In addition, he also holds Master of Business
    Administration from the James Cook University of
    North Queensland.

  • In 2011, Andrew Stoner was elected as Deputy
    Premier on 28 March 2011 and served for 3 years 6
    months and 20 days. He has also served the
    Parliament as Minister for Trade and Investment,
    Minister for Tourism and Major Events, Minister
    for Regional Infrastructure and Services,
    Minister for the North Coast and Minister for
    Small Business.

  • From March 2002 to March 2011, Andrew handled
    many portfolios as Shadow Minister, including
    Emergency Services, Regional Development, Sport
    and Recreation, Ports, Utilities, Natural
    Resources, Energy and Utilities, Roads, Water
    Utilities, State Development, Education, Road
    Infrastructure, Primary Industries, and Skills
    Development.

  • Between 2011 and 2014, Andrew Stoner co-led the
    governments asset recycling strategy, through
    private sector ownership/operation of key
    economic assets including ports and electricity
    infrastructure. This strategy generated an
    increase of 10 billion for NSWs critical
    infrastructure needs, and was expected to produce
    another 20 billion in the next term of
    government.

  • In addition to this, he also supervised more than
    13 billion of infrastructure investment in
    regional NSW, particularly road, rail and water
    infrastructure, enhancing the productivity of
    regional industries including agriculture and
    mining.

  • At present, Andrew Stoner is Director of his own
    consulting business, called Andrew Stoner
    Associates. The firm offers advice for
    investment, trade, communications strategy, both
    in NSW and Australia.
