Ed Guerin Is An Assistant Coach At The
Lenoir-Rhyne University

Ed Guerin is an assistant coach of the Men's
Lacrosse team at the Lenoir-Rhyne University. His
key responsibilities as an assistant coach
include, managing the substitution box,
facilitating agility drills, conditioning
workouts, coaching offensive plays, leading
midfielders and attackman through various
offensive schemes.

His job also includes game planning, recruiting
capable student-athletes, practice planning,
travel planning, and a lot more. Although Edward
has been associated with the Lenoir-Rhyne
University since August 2013, he began his second
season as an Assistant Coach in 2015.

Through Ed Guerins excellent coaching, the
team has won many championships and also received
awards, like Outstanding Community Service
Award, and more. So far, he has coached 13 SAC
all conference players, 9 pre-season SAC all
conference players, 5 SAC players of the week,
and 1 SAC scholar athlete of the year.

His achievements as a coach also include
coaching the team to earn its first ever first
place vote in the South Atlantic Conference, and
its first ever consecutive 1st place votes (2014,
2015). Under his training, Lenoir-Rhyne also
achieved its first ever national ranking at 12.

Presently, Ed Guerin is also the Head Coach
of Team Carolina Elite/2017, Assistant
Tournament Director of the Foothills Lacrosse
Tournament, and Camp Counselor at the
Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears Camp. Edward has a
strong background in the field of sports.

While pursuing his high school education from
William T. Dwyer High School, Palm Beach County,
Florida (2004-2008) he won many championships.
He began his collegiate career at Nassau
Community College in East Garden, N.Y., where he
received All-NJCAA honors and was part of a team
which garnered back-to-back XV.
