Title: Good Mobile UX Design: Brings Sure Success For Your APP

1
Good Mobile UX Design Brings Sure Success For
Your APP
2
  • As the mobile channel matures and technology
develops, so does the field of mobile user
    experience.
  • Good UX is what separates successful apps from
the unsuccessful ones. UX of any app is very
important in terms of engaging customers.

3
  • The main point to remember throughout the whole
mobile UX design is that whilst it has some
principles in common with the web and software
design, simply shrinking the desktop experience
    is not going to work.
  • To design a good app, one should always start
with the customer experience and follow through,
enhancing it with the right elements of the
    existing digital presence where appropriate.

4
The 80/20 Rule
  • Normally, 80 of the app users will only use 20
of its functionality. If you have an online
presence, easy ways to ensure how you cater
customers is by looking at how the customers are
interacting with the website and determine what
functionality is most used, this will help to cut
down on the feature set and can make the 20 easy
    and intuitive to use.

5
Task-based Design
  • The apps every function should be built towards
helping the users to both identify and then
complete the task, and the rest should be
discarded. Mobile users dont have much patience,
as they are mostly using the app on the go. And
the space that the developers have to work with
    is very small.
  • They should be able to sense their intent and
focus on exposing the possibilities available at
each stage of the task to the user, so they can
move through the completion yet fluidly react to
    uncovering data they werent expecting.

6
Keep It Simple
  • Keep the design as simple as possible for the
users to understand. When there comes a need to
put a FAQ inside the app, the design has probably
gone wrong somewhere. Remember that the desktop
design is totally different than that of a mobile
device.  The space allowed in the mobile is very
less and hence the design should be built
accordingly. In a long run, the simpler the app
is, the better it will be.

7
Eventually, the difference between the mobile
experience and that of more traditional design is
that the small, slow hardware and unique external
demands placed on the user means there is little
room for overly flabby layout and feature sets
that have crept into some parts of the desktop.
