Title: Best Form of Renewable Energy

The Various Types of Renewable Energy
Wind Energy
  • The wind is a renewable energy source. Wind
turbines can convert its kinetic energy into
electricity. Wind turbines operate on a simple
principle. The energy in the wind turns two or
three propeller-like blades around a rotor. The
rotor is connected to the main shaft, which spins
    a generator to create electricity.
  • Wind power has experienced tremendous growth
since the 1990's and cheap source of renewable

Solar Energy
  • Solar energy is another good source of renewable
energy. Solar panels convert the sun's energy
into electricity. A control device changes this
electricity, enabling it to power electrical
  • Today, people use solar energy to heat buildings
and water and to generate electricity. The
electricity then passes through a breaker box to
outlets in the building. Items such as TV, lamp
and AC can plug into the outlets for power. Make
a great solar choice for light your home in free.

  • Hydroelectric power, or hydroelectricity, is
generated by the force of falling water.
Hydroelectric power is one of the oldest methods
of producing power. The water has to move with
sufficient speed and volume to spin a
propeller-like device called a turbine, which in
turn rotates a generator to generate electricity.
Gallon of water is fallen from hundred feet for
    generate electricity.
  • Hydropower plant parts include the dam, turbine
    and generators

Geothermal Energy
  • The source of geothermal power is the heat
contained inside the Earth. The main resources of
geothermal energy range from the shallow ground
to hot water and hot rock found a few miles
    beneath the Earth's surface.
  • Geothermal energy can be used in a variety of
ways. There are those who utilize the heat
directly for home heating (and even cooling)
systems. Others use them in greenhouses, fish
    farms, and spas.

Bio Energy
  • Bioenergy is renewable energy made available from
    materials derived from biological sources.
Biomass energy is designed to meet the stringent
technical, environmental and financial demands of
tomorrow. Bio energy can be used to provide heat,
make fuels, and generate electricity. Through a
variety of processes, feedstocks can be directly
used to produce electricity or heat, or can be
used to create gaseous, liquid, or solid fuels.

Ocean Energy
  • Ocean energy is a term used to describe all forms
of renewable energy derived from the sea.
    Generating technologies for deriving electrical
power from the ocean include tidal power, wave
power, ocean thermal energy conversion, ocean
currents, ocean winds and salinity gradients.
Ocean energy technologies are still at an early
stage of development, with deployments limited to
    small pilot scale in Australia.

Nuclear Energy
  • Nuclear power is any nuclear technology designed
to extract usable energy from atomic nuclei via
    controlled nuclear reactions. Nuclear power
offers great promise as an energy solutionbut
safety and cost concerns are significant
  • Nuclear Fission releases energy that heats water
to about 520 degrees F in the core of nuclear
power plants. This hot water is then used to spin
turbines that are connected to generators,
    producing electricity.
