Too High or Extreme Temperature Will Greatly
Accelerate Its Rejection Rate

• When you select extreme temperature for casting
  gray iron component, it will make sand moulds
  inflate. When the casting temperature hits
  1420C, the corresponding rejection rate start
  rising. But when the temperature is reach up to
  1460C, the rejection rate will access to 50.

• When the temperature is lower than the required
  temperature rate for manufacturing castings,
  there are chances of getting maximum defects. To
  avoid faulty/defective castings, the temperature
  needs to be perfect. Low temperature makes
  casting unfit for further use and create distinct
  types of defects, such as-
• Manganese sulfide gas holes
• These types of holes usually occur over the upper
  place beneath the gray iron castings surface and
  visible when machining is done. The diameter of
  these holes can be ranged from 2mm to 6mm.

• Porosity occurs when engineers use poor exhausts
  from sand cores. It is the sand core that treats
  with the binding process in special boxes, known
  as core boxes. This process is named is cores
  creation that often develops insufficient exhaust
  holes.
