• The Ark Challenge is a well established
  organization composed of investors, entrepreneurs
  and key cluster experts they support technology
  startups through a mentorship-driven accelerator
  program. The funding of the program comes
  from Winrock International, Gravity
  Ventures, Fund for Arkansas Future and Arkansas
  Development Finance Authority they are looking
  for established startups with a product and
  demonstrated customer traction.
• Crowd To Go is one of the most promising start-up
  that Ark Challenge accepted among 70 applicant
  companies in their Summer 2014 program in which
  they will receive 50,000 cash and an intensive
  mentoring from a group of community-based and
  national mentors. They conducted 12 weeks of
  intensive boot camp mentoring that focuses on
  three activities customer acquisition,
  investors relation and product/programming
  development.
• Crowd To Go has a unique and very compelling
  business model Jet Castro one of the founders of
  crowd to go team wants to solve the last-mile
  delivery problem for retailers, restaurants and
  consumers, a delivery service for businesses that
  provides on-time local deliveries using the
  crowd. He sees his company using vetted crowd
  sourced personnel to deliver lunch to Wal-Mart
  suppliers during crunch time or run small
  packages from retailers to consumer homes in a
  particular area. The other team member includes
  Greg Hermo a technical guru and Nevelyn Custudio
  a businesswoman they worked together for the past
  three years.

• As mentioned above crowd to go uses the crowdie
  to deliver certain products/packages from
  business person to consumer. The crowdie is just
  a normal person scattered across every place or
  they might be around your neighborhood. They can
  use their personal bicycle, motorcycle, cars or
  trucks to pick-up and deliver the item to
  respective clients. Any person age 18-45 and have
  above mentioned rides can apply to become a
  crowdie this can become their part time or full
  time job.
• Being part of Ark Challenge Summer 2014 Crowd To
  Go has been given the chance to excel and bring
  the challenge into the next level. Every bit of
  information learned in the 12 weeks boot camp
  program will surely be part of their strategies
  and marketing campaign. Crowd delivery
  service will surely be the next popular delivery
  option for local businesses as its offer more
  flexible, faster and less expensive deliveries.
