Tim Pivarnik is an experienced and dedicated
education expert who has spent 15 years of his
life while serving the education sector. He
specializes in the improving schools and
students' achievement. He has studies from the
Indiana University NW, Gary, IN, and received a
Bachelors and Master's degree in Secondary
Education. He attained a Bachelor's degree in the
month of May 1997, and Master's degree in
December 2005.

Besides serving the Gary Middle College as the
Principal, Tim is also attending Indiana Wesleyan
University for Education Specialist and
Superintendent Licensure Program classes. His
certifications include Indiana Teacher's License
and Building Level K-12 Administrator License. He
has attended many workshops and seminars related
to school and curriculum improvements.

Recently, he has attended Teach Like A Champion
workshops and in 2012, he trained on and attained
experience using the RISE teacher evaluation
system. The aim of this system is to bring
teachers and principals all together in a common
mission of recognizing, developing, and
supporting excellent teaching. During the year
2011, he took part in the 8 Step Process
Integrated System For Improved Student
Achievement Training in Indianapolis.

He also participated in the New Tech Network
workshop that was organized in Napa Valley,
California, and gave a presentation at the CELL
conference on how to successfully and effectively
enforce a new school model. Tim also helped in
the development of the Griffith Alternative
School Student handbook as well as writing the
proposal for the alternative school.

Tim Pivarnik as the Principal of Calumet High
School from 2009 to 2012, successfully completed
his responsibilities. He developed many plans,
strategies along with curriculum that not only
assisted in the overall improvement of students
and the school, but were appraised by the both
Secretary of Education and Under Secretary of
Education. The Secretary of Education called Tim
as a successful turnaround Principal, and the
Under Secretary of Education called the school
An Island of Excellence.
