Description of the Webinar
This webinar gives an outline of the primary
risks and challenges that your staff and
contracted personnel confront, while working with
electrical sources at the worksites. Participants
will develop an understanding of the requirements
of OSHA Sub Part "S" and NFPA, 70E and will be
able to identify and reduce or eliminate
electrical safety hazards in their workplace. In
addition, participants will gain knowledge
regarding energy sources including electrical,
mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical,
thermal or other sources in machines and
equipment that could be hazardous to workers.
During the servicing and maintenance of machines
and equipment, the unexpected startup or release
of stored energy could cause injury to
employees.
