Dr. Thomas Marvelli was born in Eau Claire,
Wisconsin on September 29, 1953. In 1968, he
studied at Galesburg Senior High School,
Galesburg, IL. He attended Southern Illinois
University, Carbondale, IL from 1971 to 1972. In
1974, he won G.B. Dudley Award at Eastern
Illinois University because he was an brilliant
student in the physical and life sciences. He
also received his B.S degree in zoology/chemistry
in 1975 from Eastern Illinois University,
Charleston, IL. He completed his M.D from Loyola
University Stritch School of Medicine, Maywood,
IL in 1978. Besides being a professional
Ophthalmologist, he is likes cooking, reading,
and loves to spend time with his family.
