Mohannad Barakat GMC has been heavily involved in
politics and campaigning for human rights. He
responsibly fulfills his duties of organizing
campaigns, petitions and marches. His campaigns
are directed towards group of people who have
been identified as being under-represented on the
electoral register.

He comes up with the ideas to get people involved
in the process locally and nationally. He aims at
getting as many people as possible to exercise
their right to vote. He says that not only the
government, but also civil society, campaigners
and politicians share the responsibility to
encourage everyone to vote and ensure the
fulfillment of their rights.

communicate his thoughts and encourage everyone

rock genre. He is involved heavily in the race
for life campaigns - in setting up, organizing
and participating.
