Brian Garrett Joseph Shares His Views About
Achieving Success in NFL

Brian Garrett Joseph loves to write on a variety
on topics such as educational issues and about
athletics, mostly American football. He has
significant experience as a writer and blogger.
He writes that many high school players have the
dream of earning a college scholarship to a major
program and they believe that it validates their
athletic success.
3
High school recruiting publications create
mythical championships for the annual recruiting
process. He says that a four or five star blue
chip athlete out of high school does not
necessarily translate into a future pro-bowler,
an collegiate All American or even a collegiate
starter. Brian Garrett Joseph suggests budding
players that if you have the talent and
potential, then you should accept the offer to
the schools that are showing interests in you.
4
He says that not earning scholarship from mid
major division I schools is not the end of your
journey towards becoming a successful player. The
mid major, Division 1-AA or Division II school
that shows interest may be your best ticket to
earning playing time, a starting position and
post season accolades as well as an opportunity
to play in the NFL.
5
He says that if you have talent along with a
solid work ethic then playing collegiately at a
lesser school can also turn out to be the best
option for you. NFL has shown since its inception
that playing collegiately at a school that has a
storied tradition does not always translate into
NFL success. Mid schools, small private colleges
as well as historically Black colleges all have
player representation in the NFL.
