• Commitment to delivery of significantly higher
  skills for school support staff.
• During 2004-5 wider flexible training
  opportunities through an expanded provider base.
• By end of 04-5 a new flexible structure of
  accredited vocational qualifications suitable for
  ALL support staff

Funding

• 10,000 new places available through LSC for
  2004
• 475 per trainee 50 matched funding by
  LEA/School
• Bids to local LSC by end of July
• Further funding to be available for approx
  20,000 in 2005
