4Task Force Objectives(PROPOSAL)
- To consider the current revision of the Waste
Framework Directive with regard to the interests
of EUROPEN members in relation to packaging used
for packaged products and specifically - to identify those areas of interest and concern
- to make the relevant investigations and analysis
- to prepare positions for approval of EUROPEN
members - to liaise with other relevant organisations and
co-ordinate appropriate positions - to carry out the necessary lobbying activities in
relation to those positions

possibility of both Council and Parliament
supporting the rigid 5-step hierarchy. Industry
associations issuing divergent and competing
messages - EUROPEN Position is being drafted but there is a
need for immediate co-ordination between all
branches of industry
