After checking with Area Captain, Gather with
GROUP
  • Everyone gather with pre-assigned Group, closer
to center of field away from Area Captains
    trees.
  • First there hold up location sign until most
sign-in so others can see where to gather.
  • Note-takers not pre-assigned go to DR group then
filter out from there to fill empty spots as
needed. Every group needs at least 1 note-taker
and 1 runner if possible. Note-takers write down
time, who joined group, who left group where
they went what happened when, who gave what
    direction to who, etc. (who/what/when/where).
  • Runners get information between groups as needed.
  • Be flexible. After everyone has gathered in
groups if you see you are needed more in
another group or need to leave the campus, let a
note-taker or COM know where you are going. If
you arrive on site late, check-in with COM.
  • COM collects status info from everyone including
First Aid to pass on to search rescue family
    members.
