History
  • MONET 1
  • 1997 2000
  • Forging links between the Centres of Excellence
in MBSQR in order to further this field of study
  • MONET 2
  • Began January 2002
  • Narrowly focused remit in order to achieve the
greatest results. Thus the four domain
    application Task Groups were chosen.
  • Automotive Domain
  • Bio-Medical Domain
  • Education and Training
  • Fault Detection and Diagnosis

3
Project Aims
  • To demonstrate that the application of MBS/QR
methods can enhance the capacity of European
industry to innovate and compete effectively.
  • To transfer MBS/QR methods into industry and
public sectors on a targeted basis.
  • To demonstrate that success in applying MBS/QR
technologies in one sector is both applicable and
    transferable to others.

4
Rolling Wave
  • Tier 1 Automotive Task Group
  • Applying existing technologies
  • Successful Projects
  • Industrial Applications
  • Tier 2 Education and Training BRIDGE
  • Developing existing technologies
  • Successful idea (limitations)
  • Binding methods and techniques
  • Tier 3 Bio-Medical Task Group
  • Creating applicable technologies
  • Forming a Community
  • Illustrating areas for applications

5
Automotive
  • Lead by Luca Console (Turin)
  • Promote MBSQR Technologies through Automotive
    Sector
  • Publicity (Auto Supplement)
  • Visit / Presentations

    solutions
  • Technological Roadmap
  • Identify synergies with other approaches

7
Education and Training
  • Lead by Bert Bredeweg (Amsterdam)
  • Establish a forum of Educational MBSQR Users

    approach
  • Ecological Modelling
  • Integrate Education and Training techniques into
    other domain applications
  • Links to Auto TG
