• My roomies have kindly allowed me front row seats
  in their renovation adventure.

Home Renovations 101

• Discuss favourite This Old House Shows with
  friends and family, easing them into their
  obligations as your family or friend.
• Buy a house in East Vancouver for 467,000.00 and
  add 20,000.00 on the mortgage for renovations.
• And repeat the mantra,
• I LOVE RENOVATING!!!
• out loud, three times, every day.

• braving Dads new hobby.

This is Rob, proud of how well his new hobby is
coming along, for the moment. ?

Family arent only voicing encouragement
Grampie John enjoying a local beer after a long
day banging out tiles from the basement shower
stall.
Grandpa Dave playing around with the electrical
wiring, or plumbing, or something equally
mind-boggling in the same bathroom.

• theyre getting down and dirty with the rest of
  us.

that keep coming,

• Dean stayed for five days and nights replacing
  the knob and tube wiring, especially the burnt
  bits.
• Take a good look at this excellent specimen. ?

and cleaning,

• Nicola found an original kitchen tile, the ones
  in the kitchen definitely were not the same
  colour.
• And the cabinets, well, theres no way to speak
  of them without swearing profusely.

• There is no photo of Nicola, shes too fast.
• Actually shes been helping her boyfriend
  renovate his house a few streets down.
• What a woman!

All of these people have worked their fingers to
the bone to make sure Briannas and Is rooms
were done before school began.

It was only a paint job, the walls will be ripped
out next summer.
