Objectives

• Students will show some letter recognition when
  reciting the Alphabet swing and when reading
  poems about colors. They will also learn to
  identify those colors when they are seen. Using
  some online activities, students will enhance
  their abilities to recognize letter phonemes and
  graphemes.
• Students will know both upper case letters and
  lower case letters from both reading Chicka
  Chicka Boom Boom and watching the musical video
  of the book.
• Students will be able to count from one to ten
  fluently and correctly. They will also
  understand addition facts of the number one and
  how the sequence of numbers progresses.
• Students will be able to name different animals
  and hear the sound each animal makes. Using both
  a book and a film of the same book, students will
  recognize the different animals and be able to
  know the sound each animal makes.
