Purpose

• Respond to the needs of military youth whose
  parents have been deployed since the Global War
  on Terrorism.

HERO PACKS

• Backpacks stuffed with
• Stuffed animal
• Pillowcase with parents picture on it
• Journal or notepad
• Disposable camera or for older children flash
  drives or CDs
• Anything else that would help a child stay in
  touch with their parents

• Photo albums
• Diary
• Color books, crayons, markers
• Most importantly A letter from the person
  donating the Hero Pack. This letter should tell
  the child that they are our hero and we are proud
  of them and their deployed parent.
