Session 1 Shared Writing
We are scavengers, desperately searching For
food to live on, things to sell, We have no
money, food, water, We have no family, shelter or
home, We have not even the most basic, everyday
things That you all take for granted. We are
damaged, hurt, But still we have each other to
love and to care for. How would you feel if you
lived like us?
3
Session 2 Shared Writing
We are falling, weak, distressed, But determined
to search out food. We are scavengers, we dine
from bins, But clambering aboard our carriage We
feel were climbing stairs of despair. Were
dehydrated, Exhausted from the heat, we cant
last another day without food. We are the
invisible, the hidden secret, Why does no-one
care for us? Help us, we sleep on beds of
dust. But, in our hearts, we are destined for
family friends and love.
4
Help US
Help us, We are tired, hungry and in need of a
bed. We need love and care. No-one understands
just how weak we are. With no medicines , we can
last not one minute longer. Please, please, help
us.

with no protection, I need a loving family and a
home.

Help
Distressing is the definition. Starved is what we
feel, We look like were about to die, Almost at
deaths front door. We have no expression Our
wrinkles are so deep, We are hurting inside so
much now We can not get any sleep. We have n hope
left, no family, no friends We are hopeless,
hopeless until the end.
Eleanor Smith St.Michaelss Primary (Winterbourne)

Help US
I am ill and alone, I have no-one to love me,
no-one to care. I am upset, rejected. I am
exhausted and frightened, Why does nobody love
me? I feel hopeless, I know I will perish. My
eyes are stinging, I cant keep them open. Dying
is better than living. If you had the choice,
what would you do?

nothing we need money, food, clean water, And
especially love.
