Nick's Hamster - Nibbles
Nibbles has become quite the character and
becoming quite spoiled and is a people-hamster
She constantly wants Nick's attention and to be
out of the cage in her ball following us
around.

Rock Climbing At Hershey
Nick Liz decided to try the Rock Climbing wall
while we were there. They were hysterical trying
to get to the top. It was a lot of entertainment
for me Laura.

While on the way back from Hershey, we got bored.

We stopped and Laura, Nick Liz play mini golf
for a while.

The school went for a field trip and let them
dress up so Laura did. I thought she looked

We had noticed a severe storm coming across the
sky around 4 in the afternoon.  The sky to our
north looked like doomsday it was so dark and
brooding.  My cousin Will is a photographer and
he took these absolutely great pictures of the
sky. (You can see more of his photos at
http//www.burnham-down-the-house.net) Dramatic
aren't they!  I just wish I had my camera.

Lauras Confirmation
We had no idea that while we were celebrating at
our house, the storm center that broke out was
horrible.  We got some small hail and a downpour
of rain, but only for about 15-20 minutes.  About
500, my cousin's little girl, Danielle, comes in
with what looked like a snowball but was actually
a handful of ice from their windshield that was
around Golden Ring on I695..  It was a clump of
ice about the size of a softball and you could
actually see some golf ball sized hail. 
Afterwards we found out about the "violent crash
on Interstate 95 involving 92 vehicles (that) has
been named the worst accident in Maryland's
history."  We were very thankful that Rich
Chellie's family only saw the hail and were not
involved in the accident. This is one of many

Is it Christmas already?
This Christmas has been kind of different this
year.  We were unable to go away because Laura
and I were sick and we both had gotten our
sinuses operated on - mine was in December 14th
and Laura's was on December 23rd.  She doesn't
really remember Christmas at all. 
But I tried to decorate the house a lot since we
were going to be there most of the time.

Another year gone

• It was a very busy year
• From the end of October thru December, it was a
  hard time with both me and Laura sick (Laura had
  5 ER visits within November.
• I hope next year is a healthier year
