How it Works

• KenkoWave employs state-of-the-art, focused,
  intense, light emitting diodes (aka LEDs). Since
  LEDs produce non-coherent light, they represent a
  safe and effective choice over lasers or other
  types of infrared light sources.
• LEDs have been used for years as indicators on
  instrument panels, pocket calculators and clock
  radio displays. In all of these cases, the LEDs
  are relatively low intensity and diffuse emitters
  of visible light energy.
