    course work before removing a class from a
    schedule if it is needed for graduation.

Reminders
  • As you prepare to choose courses, remember to see
    if teacher approval is required.
  • If required, secure that signature on your form
    before the individual meeting with your
    counselor.
  • Any applications required are available on the
    CHS website.
  • Choose alternate courses in case teacher approval
    is not granted.

Is It Possible to Make a Schedule Change
  • No Schedule Change request will be accepted after
    May 1, 2008.
  • No Schedule change will be accepted before 3rd
    day of school.
  • No schedule changes will be made before school
    starts except for the following
  • -Student fails prerequisite course
  • -Student earns credit over summer
  • -Student is scheduled in class which they
    already received credit
  • -Change is due to change in master schedule
  • Schedule change request from Pre-AP to Regular
    will be made if space is available and according
    to Pre-AP contract.
  • No elective changes will be made when a student
    is in a class he/she selected as a first or
    alternate choice.
  • Changes to a Regular, Pre-AP, or AP course will
    only be made at the 3 weeks, the 6 weeks and the
    semester. Only made with both teacher and parent
    approval. Grades will follow to the next course.
