What is a Family Readiness Group?
  • An organization of family members, volunteers,
    and soldiers/civilian employees belonging to a
    unit/organization that together provide an avenue
    of mutual support and assistance and a network
    of communication among the family members, the
    chain of command, and community resources.

THE PRINCIPLE PURPOSES OF A FAMILY READINESS
GROUP

  • To become an essential part of a military
    units
  • support system
  • To reduce isolation among family members
  • To assist members gathering important
    information
  • and resources more efficiently and
    effectively
  • To facilitate and establish a real sense of
