Vision for the future

• The data elements will be organized into four
  groups based on availability.
• The SEA must submit the files for each group
  within a certain time period.
• EDEN will send you an e-mail when all the SEA
  files have been received within the
  pre-determined time period.
• EDEN will also send an e-mail if your files have
  not been received within the pre-determined time
  period.

School Year and EDEN Collection Period

• School Year Collection Period Will have an
  approved OMB approved data set for each school
  year.
• EDEN Collection Period All the data will be
  assigned to files and the files will be assigned
  to collection periods.

EDEN Collection Periods

• Beginning November till March
• Middle January till June
• End June till November
• Close out October till January
• Directory data may be updated at any time

• 10/05 official counts
• 1/06 finalized and published
• 2/06 sent to EDEN
• Collection period Beginning

Student Performance Tables for School Year 2005
2006

• 3/06 assessment taken by students
• 8/06 finalized and published
• 10/06 sent to EDEN
• Collection period End

Students in Neglected or Delinquent Program Table
for School Year 05-06

• Program runs throughout the School Year
• Data is summarized in June and July of 2006
• Data is sent to EDEN in August 2006
• Collection period End

• Acknowledge receipt of files by priority groups
  (1, 2, 3)
• Files have not been approved, due to inconsistent
  counts between LEA and education units
• Close-out in August 2005
