formulate their own agenda as long as it follows
    building policy

floor to floor, but the stairs are also available
  • However, the elevator has its benefits if you
    learn how to use it

Corporate Relationship Strategy
  • Diversity and Inclusion is now a core business
    objective for many companies
  • BPs Hispanic Engineering Recruiting Council
    Mission Statement
  • The BP Hispanic Engineering Recruiting Council
will support BPs efforts to recruit, develop,
and retain high quality Hispanic employees with
    engineering degrees.
  • The Council will do this by
  • 1. Providing guidance to the recruiting efforts
within the existing BP recruiting infrastructure.
  • 2. Continuously improving BPs relationship with
various national, regional, and local Hispanic
    engineering organizations.
  • 3. Strengthening the network of current and
    incoming Hispanic engineers by fostering
    mentoring networks and improving developmental
    career opportunities.

    these companies

leverage their diversity and depict it as the
    asset it actually is

17
Closing
  • In general our chapter has fun by simply reaching
out to the Hispanic High School Community
  • We do what the majority of the people want to do
with a continuous ear to change
  • We do not sweat the small stuff which works well
when friendship is the core of the organization
  • Trust is fundamental and we work hard when we
need to and avoid meeting just for the sake of
    meeting
