• Inside the Mosque
• There is a rack for shoes as you enter.
• There are paintings and verses from the Quran on
  the walls.
• The carpets are all green because it was
  Muhammads favourite colour.

Outside The Mosque

• Outside the Mosque there is a golden dome.
• There is a Minaret (tower).
• Some mosques are made from marble.

Praying

• Muslims wash before they enter the prayer hall.
• They use prayer mats.
• Men and women are always separated.

When They Pray

• Muslims pray on any day of the week.
• Quran classes are taken on a Saturday.
• The Imam reads the Quran.

Muhammad

• In the mosque Muhammads families names are on
  the wall.
• Muhammad is the founder of Islam.
