Topic The People Rob God
  • Only one person should talk at a time.
  • No side conversations when somebody is speaking.
  • Appreciate the other persons view.
  • Give freely of your experience.
  • Say what you think courteously.
  • Confine your discussion to the topic.
  • Thanks,
  • Combining Topic Return to Me, and I will return
    to you
  • Study Text Malachi 36-12v ROM 1129v LAM
    322-23v Isaiah 5414v, and Isaiah 4817v Luke
    638

2
Biblical Importance1-1
  • (Malachi 36v) For I am the Lord, I do not
change, therefore you are not consumed, O sons of
    Jacob.
  • Because of the LORDS mercies you are not
consumed, because His compassions fail not. They
are new every morning Great is Your
    faithfulness.
  • The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, it is
good that one should hope and wait quietly for
    the salvation of the LORD.
  • A question is asked will a man rob God? In what
way have we robbed you? God replied with In
tithes and offerings. For you have robbed Me,
    even this whole nation.

3
Biblical Importance1-2
  • Another biblical importance to remember is
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, and
prove Me now in this, Says the LORD of hosts, If
I will not open for you the windows of heaven.
And pour out for you such blessing that there
will not be room enough to receive it.
  • The LORD wants us to be faithful to His
ordinances, And I will rebuke the devourer for
your sake, so that he will not destroy the fruit
of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear
fruit for you in the field, says the LORD of
    hosts.

4
Lest talk about God Ordinances for a moment and
how they can govern your life 1-1 Exodus 2412v
3118v
  • The ordinances of God governed the people
religious lives so that the people would know how
to approach God on the terms that He dictates,
because those of who do not understand the
ordinances of God will approach Him just any kind
of way even in our giving.
  • God ordinances will also governed our lives if we
keep them and make them part of our daily life.
God ordinances are blessings for the faithful
believers who trusts God. God will visit the
faithful believers in their time of need
    according to his word.
  • (Malachi 37v) Yet from the days of your
fathers, you have gone away from My ordinances
and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will
return to you, Says the Lord of hosts. But you
said In what way shall we return?
  • But you said In what way shall we return?
  • You must first ask your selfs
  • Do you love the ordinances of God's?
  • Is the Sabbath to you a holy and welcome season?
  • When you go into the house of the Lord do you
    gladly respond to the summons?

5
God Ordinances1-2
  • Have you felt that his present is really there,
or do you just go thru the motion?
  • Do you rejoice, as the season comes round?
  • Do you accept Him as your Lord and Master?
  • Is prayer now less a privilege than it was?
  • Do you seek His righteousness?
  • Do you give Him thanks doing the good times as
    well as the bad times?
  • Have the services of the sanctuary become more
matter for the head than for the heart?
  • Do you hold back when it is time for you to give
your tithes and offerings? No dough, there are
more questions than theses that one may ask.

6
God Ordinances1-3
  • A question is asked, in what way shall we return?
Ask yourself theses questions repent , and
return to the Lord your God.
  • Return to Me, and I will return to you , Says
    the Lord of hosts.
  • Did you not know that it is God who commands the
    blessings in your life.
  • Every thing that you will ever need, God has
already commanded it. Return to Me, and I will
return to you. Do not put your ordinances in the
place of God ordinances. Seek His righteousness
    and not your own.

7
Will a man rob God?1-1
  • This question was asked in (Malachi 38v) Will a
man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say,
In what way have we robbed You? In tithes and
    offerings.
  • If one would notice, God was quick and direct in
answering this question. God quickly responded
with an answer tithes and offerings.
  • So that tells me that this thing to do with
tithes and offerings, is a serious matter to God.
If it is a serious matter to God, than we had
better take it serious. In (Malachi 39v), God
says You are cursed with a curse, For you have
robbed me, Even this whole nation.
  • Some would think that God was only speaking to
Jacob when He said You are cursed with a curse,
    for you have robbed me.

8
Will a man rob God1-2
  • If God spoke these very same words to Jacob and
includes that the nation has robbed Him in tithes
and offerings, what makes you any difference
when you rob God of your tithes and offering. If
Jacob and the hold nation could not escape the
word of God nor will you. God says For I am the
    Lord, I do not change.
  • If you rob God in your tithes and offerings, this
curse did not only fall upon Jacob, but you as
well, because God says for you have robbed me,
you are curse with a curse.
  • There are some who thank that they are getting
by, but I come to tell you today, that no one can
and will not escape the Word of God. I dont care
how much money you may have in your bank account,
if you are robbing God of tithes and offerings
you will not escape His Word. This message is for
    the poor and rich.
  • Jesus says, this woman gave all she has because
of her faith in God she gave all she had.

9
Will a man rob God? 1-3
  • In (Malachi 39v) when you return to God, He
will return to you, He has already commanded his
    blessings in your life.
  • Repent and return to Him and His blessing will
automatically flow in your life, simply because
He has already commanded it to happen.
  • How many of you know that Gods word is waiting
on a response from you so that it can claim
    victory in your life.
  • God does not need to repeat these words, for He
has already commanded it! God word is waiting on
a response from you so His word can go forth in
your life, for He says return to Me and I will
    return to you.

10
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse1-1
  • Where is Gods storehouse?
  • Its not your place of resident, nor your bank
    account.
  • (Malachi 10v) Bring all the tithes into the
storehouse that there may be food in My house,
And prove Me now in this, Says the Lord of
hosts, If I will not open for you the windows of
heaven And pour out for you such blessing that
there will not be room enough to receive it.
  • Say these words to your self! God has already
    commanded it to happen!
  • Your place of worship is in your community, your
local church is Gods storehouse. It takes money,
and your service and stewardship to operate Gods
    storehouses.
  • God says prove Me now in this, and I am going to
open for you the windows of heaven.
  • God is saying, have a little faith, and prove Me
now in this, Says the LORD of hosts,

11
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse1-2
  • One of the biggest things that hold peoples back
from paying their tithes and offering is when
they only have just enough money to pay that
house note or car note or any other finance, they
will not trust God with their finances. They
begin to hold back on their tithes and offerings.
  • See I know because I use to be guilty of this
very same thing. My mind was not spiritual
    renewed.
  • You see I can testify to this there were times
when God had blessed me with a nice good paycheck
every week, and when I would go to church I would
only drop one or maybe two or three dollars into
the basket. You see I was approaching God on my
    terms and not His.
  • Many people mind is not spiritual renewed. They
are still seeing things in the physical realm.
  • The very reason you cannot make that house note
and car note, is because you have not faith in
trusting God with your finances, and you begin to
start robbing God. What you really are doing is
robbing your self. You are cursed with a curse,
for you have robbed Me. Your Self. The
    scriptures are not in vain.

12
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse1-3
  • See the simple minded in the physical realm, will
say how can, I rob God and my self too? When you
rob God of your tithes and offerings, this is
both true to you and God.
  • When you rob God of your, His tithes and
offering, you are only taking away from yourself
and your family as well, because what affect you
    affect your family.
  • This chapter, Malachi 36-12v not only affects
your financial future, your health and every
aspect of your life. Any goals that you are
trying to pursue, it affects your spiritual
    relationship with Him.
  • God is saying, have a little faith, try Me! Not
only will I bless you, I will rebuke the devourer
    for your sake.

13
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse1-4
  • (Malachi 311v) And I will rebuke the devourer
for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the
fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to
bear fruit for you in the field, Says the Lord of
    hosts.
  • God is going to rebuke the enemy for your sake.
Your financial future will be secured. He will
not let the enemy destroy the fruit of your
ground. You will be able to accomplish your goals
in life. You will become a witness for Him to
someone else. The fruit that you bear will not
fail. Says the Lord of host.
  • (Malachi 312v) And all nations will call you
blessed, for you will be a delightful land, Says
    the Lord of hosts.
  • Because of your faithfulness in trusting God with
your finances, every one will see how God has
blessed you, God will make you delightful in
their eyes. Gods blessing and light will shine
    in your life.

14
For with the same measure that you use, it will
be measured back to you.
  • Please turn to Luke 638 Give and it will be
given to you good measure, pressed down, shaken
together, and running over will be put into your
bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it
will be measured back to you.
  • When you give, are you a cheerful giver, and one
    who gives from the heart?
  • A question was asked in one of the men fellowship
bible study one Saturday morning that I attended,
and the question was asked, should we give our
10 from the Net or Gross.
  • Well according to Luke 638 the teacher give
this example. He took two books, one was the
bible and the other was a helm book. The bible
was much bigger and thicker than the helm book.
So here we have a bigger thick book and we have a
    small thin book.

15
For with the same measure that you use, it will
be measured back to you. 1-2
  • Now if we look at this example in measure, both
books was measured, pressed down shaken together,
and running over, but one book represented the
Gross and the other book represented the Net. Now
according to youre giving which one would
    receive more?
  • For with the same measure that you use, it will
be measured back to you. Amen glory be to God
  • This is the Word of God For with the same
measure that you use, it will be measured back to
you. So if you dont give anything this is the
measure that you decided to use, and if this is
the measure that you are using, go back and study
Malachi 3rd chapter and Luke 638.

16
For with the same measure that you use, it will
be measured back to you. 1-3
  • Remember the question was asked in Malachi 3rd
chapter will a man rob God. Study Gods response
from both of these chapters Luke 638
  • Everything needs a foundation. When the builders
build a house they build a foundation for the
house. When an engineer designs a car he designs
a frame for the new car which is the foundation.
But when the work is done from both builder and
designer the success is great, and the out come
is much more than the beginning. But it was a
process for both builder and designer.
  • Learning to give and tithes is a process as well,
when you give back to God in your tithes and
offering you are building a foundation in
finance, your health, your relationship with God,
your faithfulness with the same measure that you
use, it will be measured back to you.

17
Isaiah 5414 verse, and Isaiah 4817
  • The Lord will establish you in His righteousness
    according to Isaiah 5414v verse
  • If one seek to prosper in life financially, what
better way to learn, from God him self, for He
shall teach you to profit, and lead you by the
way you should go, according to Isaiah 4817v
  • Study both of these scriptures reading and let
the Holy Spirit minister God Word to you in the
    Spirit.
