  • apostolos is a Greek word that means sent.
  • missio is a Latin word. It, too, means sent.

God is a Sender by Nature.
  • Genesis 121-4 Abraham was sent by God, both to
    be blessed and to be a blessing.
  • Isaiah 68 Isaiah was sent by God and for God.
  • John 16 There was a man sent from God whose
    name was John. He came (was sent) for a witness
