• Teacher shortages in Utah and other state
• Growing need for nursing

• Projects 2 to 3 new HP job openings for each new
  graduate through 2010
• Little consideration for Nuclear Renaissance
• We must complete to get students to enter Health
  Physics (and/or other science based careers) and
  everyone can help

• Most focus on supplementing teachers background
  with radiation knowledge
• HPS science teacher workshops
• Summer internships for teachers
• Teachers have little or no budget
• Judging science fairs
• Career days
• State level science teacher organizations
• Company support for community outreach

• Scholarships
• Endowed professor positions (NEI, etc.)
• Matching funds from employers
• Tax deductible
• Speaking to student associations
• Equipment donations
• Career fairs
• Hire college graduates (not just experienced)
• Intern programs
