Academic Advisement
  • Always bring your curriculum worksheet and your
    DARS with you. These two documents are your
    guides from semester to semester.
  • Group advisement sessions will take place prior
    to registration for spring 2009 classes. You
    will receive an e-mail blast with these dates.
    We urge you to attend one of these sessions.

Academic Advisement
  • In addition to group advisement, one-on-one
    advisement is available with an FMM advisor
    during the day or during evening hours. Contact
    the receptionist in the FMM office to schedule
    after the third week of classes.
  • Always bring your curriculum worksheet and your
    DARS with you to any and all advisement sessions!

Program, you must also complete the following

  • This, or the equivalent, must be taken prior to
    Information Systems Case Analysis - MG306
  • SS141 Macroeconomics
  • This must be taken prior to taking Microeconomics
    (SS 342)

  • This or the equivalent, must be taken prior to
    taking Data Analysis for Business Applications
    (MA321)
  • Algebra Placement Exam
  • This or the equivalent must be taken prior to
    taking Data Analysis for Business Applications

Grades
  • Students MUST maintain a 2.0 GPA
  • Falling below 2.0 puts students on Probationary
    Warning and can lead to dismissal
  • Students have up to 6 weeks to withdraw from a
    class---tuition penalties may apply follow
    appropriate guidelines to withdraw officially
    from classesnotify your professor
  • Grades of Incomplete are calculated as an F
    until resolved. Make-up Exam fee 25

Graduation Requirements
  • FITs graduation ceremony is held in May
  • Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 to
    received a degree
  • Students must complete a minimum or 33.5 credits
    in residence at FIT
  • All FMM / FIT requirements must be met (2 major
    electives one related area elective).no
    exceptions
  • The Request to Graduate form must be completed
    (30 bursar fee) this form is mailed to you or
    can be picked up in C-158 Registrars Office

Applying to Bachelors Program
  • Applications are available on line. You must
    re-apply if interested.
  • (25 fee, no essay required)
  • Applications should be filed by the end of fall
    semester, no later than December 15, 2008 for
    fall 2009.
  • Bachelor candidates should attend Upper Division
    advisement meetings in spring 2009 semester.
