• 1991- less than 20 of students taking the Red
  River program sponsored by the Accident
  Prevention Association of Manitoba knew of or
  were members of a Safety and Health Committee
• 2006 100 of students taking the Red River
  program were aware of, if not members of a Safety
  and Health Committee

• 1970's- the term Occupational Safety and Health
  Officer (OSH) were used for Government inspectors
  in the area of Safety
• 2000- Federal Government changes the working
  titles of their inspectors to Occupational Health
  and Safety Officers(OHS)
• Accident investigation techniques have not
  necessarily changed over the years, but the
  analytic techniques have changed significantly
