• A SAP employs enhanced security measures to

• Protect vulnerabilities from exploitation, or
  protect our ability to exploit adversary
  vulnerabilities
• Conceal a significant discovery
• Protect sensitive operational plans or tests
• DOSP is also the MDA SAP Central Office (SAPCO)
• Coordinates approval of MDA SAP access, provides
  for MDA SAP administration and record
  maintenance, and ensures adequate oversight for
  SAPs within MDA
• Tracks other SAP efforts that might enhance the
  BMDS
• Coordinates ongoing analysis of SAP efforts,
  integration of those efforts into the elements,
  and ultimately fielding of those elements all the
  while keeping the security protection in place

Intelligence Mission

• Provide all-source intelligence on the foreign
  ballistic missile threat to all levels of
  builders of missile defense
• Provide current, in-depth, and relevant
  intelligence to the Director, senior MDA
  officials, the International Affairs Directorate,
  and all elements with an international business
  base or mission
• DOSI is MDAs intelligence broker and connection
  to the Intelligence Community
• The Intelligence Requirements Division is the
  single MDA office to go to for intelligence
  information

BMDS Information Assurance Functional Manager
(DOSA)

• The Information Assurance (IA) Division (DOSA)
  performs three functions
• In accordance with DoD regulation, DOS serves as
  the BMDS Information Assurance Manager (IAM),
  responsible for the IA / CND posture of the
  overall BMDS and the Management of Element IAMs
• DOSA performs contract acquisition support to
  BMDS Elements ensuring IA is addressed in
  procurement packages. In concert with the ECPO
  and DOSS, DOSA is the IA / CND lead for the
  Security Working Integrated Product Team (SWIPT)
• DOSA is responsible for interfacing with the
  Intelligence Community (IC) to define cyber
  security threats relevant to the BMDS
