Silence
  • Take time for silent prayer to begin,
  • focus on
  • our individual need to take time to pray and
  • to prepare ourselves to speak to and listen to
    God.

Confession
  • Confess the things that we have not done that God
    calls us to do
  • Confess that often we call ourselves the church
    but fail to be the church
  • Confess that we have not given all that we can be
    in Gods service to others
  • Confess that we have not been good stewards in
    terms of Gods Creation

Presbyterian Church in Canada
  • The General Assembly
  • The Moderator and Moderator Elect
  • Our Moderator, Rev. Cheol Soon Park, as he
    finishes his term and as he conducts worship at
    the opening of the General Assembly Let us give
    thanks for his service as Moderator this last
    year.
  • The Moderator Elect Rev. Harvey Self as he
    takes on the role of Moderator and conducts the
    General Assembly in its business and as he
    represents the denomination in the coming year

  • Pray for Stephen Kendall, Don Muir and Tony Plomp
    as they deal everyday with matters that arise
    from day to day situations in congregations all
    over the country.

  • For Gods calling in all of our lives
  • For the church and its mission in the world

    done in Christs name
