• Magento 2 is an eCommerce platform where admin
  put their product for selling and customer who
  visits the website buys the product at specified
  product price and quantity. This is the general
  working of any eCommerce website. But if Customer
  who wants to buy the bulk products with a
  discounted price for reselling or any other
  purpose, there must be some feature which must
  allow communication between buyer and admin, here
  comes the need for Purpletree Request a Quote for
  Magento 2 Extension.

• Using Purpletree Request a Quote for Magento
  2, the frontend user would be able to see a new
  button on the Product page as Request a
  Quote. This text can be changed by admin from
  Configuration we have set the default as Request
  a Quote.  If Purpletree Request a Quote Extension
  is enabled from admin with valid License key
  Change the Text for Product Link button
  Label from Request a Quote Configuration.

• Request a Quote button on product page allows
  user to input the details for their requirement
  so that admin can handle each request by the user
  and reply accordingly and once admin approves the
  request, admin can Set the Price and Quantity for
  the product so that customer would buy the
  product like price and quantity set by admin for
  the quote request.

Request a Quote Form for Product

• Product Name - This field would be automatically
  filled, the user can not change the product name
  here as the form is opened from the product page.
• Quantity  User can input the required quantity
  her, it must be numeric and could be any quantity
  above 0.
• I am not a Business Customer  By Default, we
  have unchecked this option, as for Bulk Order
  only Business user would contact the admin, but
  if you are not a Business customer, you can
  uncheck this checkbox so that you dont have to
  fill the following fields else you can enter the
  Business details also, this will ensure that you
  are a real business user and interested to buy
  the products for reselling or another purpose. By
  this, you would be able to win admin confidence
  and would get a good deal.
• Business Name - Enter a Valid Business Name here
  in this field.
• Industry - Enter a valid Industry in this field.
  You can leave it blank also.
• GSTIN - Enter Valid GST Number or Tax ID, you can
  leave it blank if not available.
• PAN No  Enter Valid PAN number/Tax ID of the
  Business, you can also leave this field blank if
  not available.

• First Name  Enter your First Name here, this is
  a required field and must be entered, if the
  customer is already logged in on the website,
  this field would be auto-filled from account
  information, but you can change the First Name
  here if you want to.
• Last Name  This is also the required field to
  enter the Last Name, if the customer is already
  logged in on the website, this field would be
  auto-filled from account information, but you can
  change the Last Name here if you want to.
• Email ID -  Enter Valid Email ID in this field,
  this is a required field and must be entered if
  the customer is not Logged in, else if the
  Customer is Logged In to the website then Email
  ID from the account would be used and the user
  wont be able to change this field.
• Phone No - Enter Valid Phone in this field, if
  Customer is Logged in then this would get from
  Account information but the user can always
  change the Phone Number field from this form.
• Description - Enter a Full Description for your
  demand for Bulk Product Quantity and can explain
  the requirement in detail here.
