Previously, QuickBooks Online Accountant was only
a portal through which accountants accessed their
QuickBooks Online clients books. Today, its
utility is much more than obtaining the books of
clients. It is the only medium where
you can manage all your clients and also the work
is done for them even if they are not on
QuickBooks. You can use this software to sort out
and view contact information, assign projects,
and keep track of it and also associate with
clients and your team.

If your client is not on QuickBooks Online, you
can still add them to QuickBooks Online
Accountant by the following process- You need to
go to the homepage of QuickBooks Online
Accountant and click on the Add Client tab in
the upper right of your client list.
  Then you need to select the type of
client i.e., whether they are a Business or
Individual and put their name under contact
information.

Under QuickBooks subscription, choose from the
following billing and discount-wholesale
discount, direct discount, no subscription right
now. Under Team access, select the
members from your firm whom you want to give
access to the clients books. You can even view
all members on the list by clicking Show. For
that, you need to check the top box.
