Conservar Isolating/Finishing Varnish
Conservar Isolating/Finishing Varnish is a
colorless, reversible varnish comprised of an
aldehyde resin (Laropal A81) in an aromatic and
aliphatic solvent blend with UV light stabilizer.
It can be used both as an isolating varnish and a
final varnish. The varnish is available in two
finishes Gloss and Matte. The Matte varnish has
micronized silica added to produce a varnish with
less gloss. Both finishes can be blended to
achieve the desired gloss level. The varnish can
be removed with most any of the low-aromatic
aliphatic solvents.

from hydrogenated hydrocarbon (Regalrez 1094)
resin dissolved in pure, low-aromatic solvent and

Rublesol Odorless Mineral Spirits
Rublesol pure odorless mineral spirits (OMS) is
an ideal solvent for use with oil and alkyd
painting. Rublesol evaporates completely and
leaves no residue. Artists use mineral spirits as
an alternative to turpentine because it is less
flammable and less toxic. Because of interactions
with pigments, painters require a higher grade of
mineral spirits, including the absence of
residual sulfur. Rublesol odorless mineral
spirits have been further refined to remove the
more toxic aromatic compounds and is recommended
where painters must use a less odorous solvent.

Neil's Best Dammar Varnish is traditional varnish
of dammar (or spelled damar) resin dissolved
without heat in pure gum turpentine and aged one
year. Use Neil's Best Damar Varnish as a final
glossy picture varnish over well-dried oil
paintings, after 6-12 months, or add Wax Paste
for satin finish. Add to oil colors for
luminosity, use to make egg-oil emulsions or as
quick-drying paint medium. (31 resin solution).
