• From October 2018, South Australians will be
  eligible to receive considerable rebates for solar
  battery system installations, under a new move
  from the State Government announced in the
  2018/19 State Budget. Low interest loans will
  also be made available for households seeking
  to install solar panels plus storage in their
  homes.

What is the Home Battery Scheme?

• These initiatives form part of the newly
  established Home Battery Scheme, which aims to
  make it easier and cheaper for more homes to
  switch to solar. The State Government has
  committed 100 million over the next four years
  which will subsidise up to 40,000 households
  solar battery systems at up to 6,000 per system.

  Scheme is just as the name suggestsfor batteries

  finance for new or upgraded solar systems and
  storage through the Clean Energy Finance
  Corporation.
