• Nainital
• Nainital is also known as Lake of India's
  Lakes. It is located in the Himalayan belt. It is
  situated in the middle of the Kumaon hills and is
  blessed with beautiful lakes. Nainital has been
  referred to as the "lake of three saints" or
  "tri-sage-sarovar" in the Manas section of Sri
  Skanda Purana. The three saints who were named
  Atri, Pulastya and Pulah, were to stay in
  Nainital to eradicate their thirst, but they did
  not get any water then they dug a pit and filled
  the pit from the water brought from Mansarovar
  lake.

• Mussoorie is popular as the queen of the
  hills, which is a hill station located in

  provides scenic views of Shivalik ranges and Dunn
  valleys. This place is also considered as the
  gateway to the religious centers of Yamunotri and
  Gangotri.

• Rishikesh, also known as Dev Bhoomi, is a
  major pilgrimage place in Dehradun District.

  the religious places of this place, to see the
  great Himalayas and dive in the river Ganga.

• Haridwar (or Hardwar) literally means 'the

  this, the way to reach the other three religious
  centers of Uttarakhand, Rishikesh, Kedarnath and
  Badrinath also goes through this place.

• Almora is a very famous hill station of the
  Kumaon region, situated on the hill of the
  horse's back of 5 km long between Suyal and Kosi
  river. Surrounded by lush green forests, this
  city is situated at an elevation of 1651 meters
  above sea level. The Chand dynasty and Katuri
  dynasty ruled here in the 15th and 16th
  centuries. Tourists from the hills of Almora can
  see the panoramic view of the snow-covered peaks
  of the Himalayas. There are many such specialties

• Kausani is a beautiful mountain tourist

  offers a wonderful view of the beautiful valleys
