  • An IMT strategy is vital because, in
    supporting the business objectives of the
    organisation, value for money can be maximised
    through planned and targeted IMT developments

  • It will define how the organisations information
    needs, will be provided for and managed.
  • It should derive from and support the overall
    business strategy and contribute to actual
    business benefits.
  • It should also include reference to supporting
