Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
  • Q. How is the 12 inch TykesBykes different from
    the 16 inch model?
  • A Both of these models have a similar design in
addition to similar components, however, the 12
inch bike has 12 inch pneumatic tires, a bike
weight of 10 lbs, a minimum seat height of 13
inches, and a maximum seat height of 18
inches. All in all, the 16 inch bike is larger and
would suit 4 year olds, while the 12 inch would
    be better for younger toddlers.

What Customers Say About It?
  • My 2 year old is at the 95 percent for height, do
I wanted a bike that would grow with him. He is
in 3T pants, and the bike for him well on a lower
seat setting and will grow with him for a long
time. This would not be a good bike for a small
sized, younger child. The instructions are poor
on how to adjust it, but if you have experience
with bikes is very easy to figure out. The wheels
are like regular bike wheels and great for rough
terrain. The frame seems very study, which is
good because it's already getting thrown around.
I love that it looks like an adult bike, because
he's so happy to have a bike like mom and dad.
