Hello! Hola! Hey!
  • Hey yall, today were going to learn bout
    lizards and their anatomy.

Introduction to Lizards
  • Studying lizards is good times, and Im sure
were going to enjoy it. Lizards are cold
blooded animals, and are reptiles. Popular
    lizards include crocodiles and iguanas.

Lets get it on
  • For our little lesson today, were going to take
a look at the crocodile, one of the most
ferocious lizards on the face of this planet.

5
Lizard Lifestyles
  • Lizards enjoy dry, warm conditions. Since they
are cold blooded, they need warmth for them to be
able to be active. They like to bask in the sun,
and search for rodents to eat.

Not quite like Burger King..
  • Lizards eat what they can find on the ground and
find their food using senses such as smell and
    taste.
  • Lizards enjoy eating many things, including
    rodents.

The lizard on the outside
  • Unlike humans, lizards have scales. These scales
are useful for keeping in moisture and providing
    protection. Additionally, lizards have tails.
They use their tails for doing things such as
    swimming,

Interior of a lizard
  • As you can see, The insides of a lizard are
somewhat similar to ours They have a heart,
lung, liver, and a kidney just like us. However,
check out the size of the brain.. Its small!

9
Lizards arent that smart
  • Heres a picture of a lizard and its brain.
Circled in yellow and lit up is the actual size
of its brain. New born babies have a higher
intelligence than a full grown lizard.
