  • Director's Message When I conceived the idea of
entering into travel, it was not by chance but a
will to learn about culture places and people.
They cohesively made me think about the diversity
of nature and created an urge to be different
from what I would expect for my travel to be .

Expedition and Trekking
Ocean voyages, land tours, and safaris to
far-flung destinations that provide travelers
with adventurous and educational experiences
qualify as expedition travel. An expedition
comprises of a small group of adventurers who
investigate unusual places of cultural and/or
natural significance, led by experts who
enlighten these travelers and manage logistics of
the journey. When defining expedition travel,
it is often easier to explain what it is NOT
resort vacations, pleasure cruises, and
mass-market tours. Everest Base Camp Everests
daunting summit soars so high that trekking to
its base camp is even an adventure of the highest
sort. Spend some days discovering the historic
treasures of Kathmandu. Stay in villages set
against soaring, jagged pinnacles get to know
the unique culture of the Sherpas and walk
trails lined with mani stones, engraved with
Tibetan Buddhist prayers. Discover remote
mountain monasteries and learn about the Sherpas
spiritual perspective on the mountains they call
home. Just imagine being in the company of some
of the highest mountains on earth and the
magnificence of the sunrise over the snow-capped
Himalayas. Pashupatinath Temple, with its
astonishing architectural beauty, stands as a
symbol of faith, religion, culture and tradition.
9
Annapurna Base Camp One of the most popular
treks in the world, Mt. Annapurna rises to 8091m
and is the 10th highest mountain in the world.
The invigorating trek to Annapurna Base Camp
passes through waterfalls, villages, farmlands,
rhododendron forests, and mountain vistas. The
Annapurna Base Camp trek, takes off from the lake
city of Pokhara at a mere height of around
800meters to a high altitude of over 4,000 meters
with gradual acclimatization process. We also
pass through a diverse geographical and cultural
variation with amazing ranges of flora and fauna
in between. Needless to say, one gets to enjoy
the sheer magnificence of the Himalayas,
including Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri
hospitality and rich culture of the local
community and the brilliance of nature. Everest
Region Introductory Trek This trek is designed
as an introductory trek to the Everest region. On
this trek, visit the famous Sherpas inhabitant
Namche Bazarand Khumjung. Fly from Kathmandu to
Lukla by small twin water aircraft and begin the
trek from Lukla. Have a spectacular view of
Mountains in Lukla. Spend two nights in Namche at
the beginning as an acclimatization day. Go
through the Everest view hotel which is the
highest elevated 5 star hotel in the world. At
Khumjung  visit an old monastery, hospital and a
school built by Sir Sir Edmund Hillary. After
returning to Kathmandu go for Patan and Bhaktapur
sight seeing.
10
Annapurna Region Introductory Trek This trip
will introduce a little bit of Nepal and the
Annapurna Himalayan range. On this trip you will
see the most of Annapurna Region Mountains. You
will see Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Machapuchhre
(Fish Tail), Annapurna South, Himchuli,
Dhaulaghiri, Nilghiri etc. Beside Mountains views
get a visual treat of the cultivation in the
fields, collecting and harvesting the crops,
beautiful terraces of rice, corn millet etc. Once
back to Kathmandu enjoy the Bhaktapur and Patan
tour. Take an Everest scenic flight, if
interested. If time permits, visit the Chitwan
National Park Jungle Safari and introductory
rafting as well. North Everest Base Camp In
2010, a visit to the North (China-side) Base Camp
required a permit from the Chinese government.
Even for a visit to Tibet permits were required.
Now permits can be received via travel companies
in Lhasa as part of a package tour that include
hiring a vehicle, driver and guide. The North
Base Camp is accessed by vehicle through a 100 km
road branching to the South from the Friendship
Highway near Shelkar. Pashupatinath Temple, with
its astonishing architectural beauty, stands as a
symbol of faith, religion, culture and tradition.
The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the
sacredlinga or phallic symbol of Lord Shiva.
Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world
come to pay homage to this temple, that is also
known as 'The Temple of Living Beings'. Khunde is
a village in the Khumbu region of Nepal within
the Sagarmatha National Park. It is directly
adjacent to Khumjung village in the valley at the
foot of Khumjung Khumbi Yul Lha, the sacred
mountain of the Sherpas. Kunde is located in the
western part of the valley and slightly higher
than Khumung.
