Art Fundraiser and Art Clubs
  • Art Fundraiser-Every student will start on the
    art fundraiser in the next few weeks. Ordered
    items will be delivered to the student around the
    Thanksgiving break. These items make great gifts
    for family and friends!
  • 5th grade Art Club starts soon. It will take
    place on Tuesday mornings from 715 to 8 a.m.
    Students will be able to work on Rodeo art and/or
    weaving. I will also teach knitting to any
    interested 5th graders. The 3rd 4th graders
    will be able to join a weaving club in mid
    January. Same day and time.

Special Events
  • Go Texan Week is February 29th-March 7th . K
    Round up will take place on Feb. 29th. Both K
    and 1st grade will dress western and dance in the
    gym.
  • Grades 2nd-5th will be dancing in the gym all
    week, and parents are welcome to stop by and
    dance with us. We will not have a formal western
    day like in the past. Instead, parents will be
    able to pick any time that week to come and
    dance, giving parents more flexibility to
    participate. Students can wear western attire
    that week if the wish to.

Fitness Testing
  • Fitness testing will take place for all students
    K-5th testing strength, endurance and
    flexibility.
  • Pre-testing will be done in the Fall and
    Post-testing will take place in the Spring.
  • K-1st will do the mile walk/jog and the shoulder
    stretch test.
  • 2nd -5th will do the mile run, shoulder stretch,
    curl-ups, push-ups and the trunk lift
