PARS Plant Health

• protection of plants and plant products against
  harmful organisms encompasses the activities in
  relation to the prevention of introduction and
  spread and suppression of HO through the
  prescribed phytosanitary measures
• on the basis of laboratory diagnosis of organisms
  harmful to plants and on the basis of PRA, in
  accordance with the provisions of the Plant
  health act and implementing regulations

• implementation of the Community Law in the
  Republic of Slovenia, including the Plant
  protection products act and the Mineral
  fertilizers act, as well as for the cooperation
  in the European programme for the assessment and
  registration of plant protection products (PPP)
  with the European Commission and other Member

PARS Plant Varieties and Seed Production

• quality seed and planting material of varieties
  adapted to the Slovene growing conditions
